What Imports Into Omnisant
Google Calendar personal events can import after a user connects Google. Use Import now in Preferences to refresh. Some external fields may not appear exactly as they do in Google.
What Syncs Outward
Assigned Omnisant events can sync to the user's default outbound calendar when the connection is active and authorization is valid.
If no default outbound calendar is selected, Omnisant may not know where to send assigned events.
Visibility Rules
Personal imported events are not the same as shared records. Use Omnisant events when ownership, notes, status, or shared visibility matter.
Common Scenarios
- A school event imported from Google appears as schedule context.
- An Omnisant appointment assigned to a user can push outward.
- A missing event may be a connection, house context, visibility, or import status issue.
