Core Principle
When in doubt, update the shared record instead of creating another side-channel.
Memory is fragile. Screenshots get stale. Group chats fragment. Durable information belongs in the system.
Use Today As The Daily Timeline
- Check Today first.
- Update status.
- Mark complete.
- Add context before asking.
- Use completion to close loops.
Put Durable Information In The System
If someone will ask for it again, it probably belongs in Omnisant.
- Addresses.
- Entrance notes.
- Vendor notes.
- Pickup details.
- Recurring instructions.
- Service history.
Do Not Hide Important Context In Messages
Update the event, pickup, shopping item, service record, contact, or note category instead.
Assign Ownership Clearly
Good records answer who owns pickup, who confirmed the vendor, who bought the item, who is waiting on what, and whether it was already handled.
Weekly Reset
- Review upcoming week.
- Confirm pickups.
- Check service due soon.
- Clean shopping queue.
- Review calendar sync.
- Confirm household support schedule.
What Good Looks Like
Fewer “nobody told me” moments. Fewer repeated questions. Less message chasing. Better handoffs. Clearer days.
